Payment Terms

Non Account Sales
All cash account and retail orders will be processed immediately on checkout.

Enterprise Accounts
If you qualify for our account holder status you are invited to open a charge account. You can apply on-line or have an application faxed to you. Please allow sufficient time to process your application. To place orders during this time, Brazilian Coffee accepts all major credit cards and can ship to all points in Canada.

Minimum Order
While Brazilian Coffee does not have a minimum order at this time, we ask that all account holders respect the cost of doing business when placing orders.

Credit Terms & Policy
Credit terms are net 30 days from date of purchase. Late payments fees will be charged at the rate of 2% per month (26.82% per annum) on all overdue accounts, without exception. Overdue accounts may be placed on C.O.D., shipments withheld, or credit facilities suspended temporarily without notice until payment is received on the overdue amount. Late payment fees will appear on statements only. Payments on account will apply firstly to late payment fees and secondly to the outstanding balance.

Invoices/Packing slips
You will receive both your invoice and packing slip at time of purchase/delivery/receipt of goods. We ask that every effort is made to forward invoice to proper paying authority. We do not forward any additional copies at end of month. A service charge may be applied if additional copies are requested.

Canadian Taxes

All Canadian orders for applicable product types, will be charged 5% GST.

Return Policy

Brazilian Coffee has a No Hassle return policy! You may return, at your expense, any item except, beverages and food products (such as coffee, tea, syrups), or special order parts within 30 days of receiving your order. All returns must be in original packaging with all pieces and instructions included. We suggest before opening or signing for receipt of any package that all customers thoroughly inspect the items for any damage due to shipping or manufacturer defects. Do not sign for receipt of any damaged goods. Signing for receipt of any package is acknowledging that the product is received in good condition. (Please see further damage claim information below)

The item being returned cannot be used, installed or damaged in any way. Returnable items may be subject to a 30% restocking fee. Special order items are non-returnable. Shipping and handling charges will not be refunded. If the product being returned was an error on behalf of Brazilian Coffee we will provide return shipping information and cover return shipping costs. All other returns will be at the customers expense and choice of carrier.

Our warranty with respect to any item sold is limited solely to the warranty of the products manufacturer. Brazilian Coffee makes no other warranty of any kind, expressed or implied unless outlined within a specific contract. We are not responsible for labor charges or consequential damages of any nature whatsoever. We will not assume any responsibility for improper diagnosis or installation. All warranties are limited to the proper use, application, and installation by a trained individual in the industry, and in all events Brazilian Coffee's liability is limited to the purchase price. Some warranties are handled directly from the manufacturer and Brazilian may forward the warranty process.

General Shipping Policy

Brazilian Coffee makes every effort to have shipping and handling prices and policies that are fair and reasonable. So you may benefit from our competitive pricing, we offer the convenience of delivery to your door, and the added benefit of all items shipped from our own and supplier warehouses closest to your address in Canada. We only use known and trusted courier partners and Canada Post for our Canadian Clients.

For your convenience, all in stock items ship within 24 hours (weekends not included) and are delivered within 1-5 business days, depending on location in relation to our Alberta warehouses. Please note tracking is uploaded each morning so if your item ships on Tuesday you typically will receive tracking Wednesday morning. If backorders exist, orders may be split into multiple shipments. We do not charge you extra shipping for split shipments.

Most in-stock items ship within 24 regular business hours via Brazilian Coffee carrier of choice.

All orders are subject to a $3.75 handling charge

Shipments to Northwest Territories, Yukon, & Nunavut
All shipments will be charged $34.99 flat rate shipping. (These areas do not qualify for free shipping promotions). You will be advised of the additional freight charges before your order is processed.

Other Beyond Standard Destination charges may apply to secluded areas where normal couriers do not deliver. You will be advised of any extra charges before your order is processed. Additional Shipping & Handling Charges (Unqualified Flat-Rate Shipping Items)
Additional shipping and/or handling charges will apply to large, oversized, cubed, or heavy items as well as items that require special handling or dangerous goods. You will be advised of additional charges prior to shipping. The order will be held until written or email approval is received. Damaged items must be claimed within 24hrs. Any items signed for with freight damaged may not be claimed (See Return Policy above.)

Items containing hazardous or regulated materials or some very large or heavy items must be shipped to you via freight carrier - these items are identified at time of purchase. (See note below)*

We do our best to ensure that shipping is correctly calculated before you purchase; however, at times it may not be possible to do so accurately. We reserve the right to notify you after you've purchased an item of any additional shipping or handling charges necessary to deliver your order. If notified of any additional charges, you also have the right to modify or cancel your order for a full refund.

* PLEASE NOTE: Some items cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box and may require a physical address.

Estimated Shipment Time
Brazilian Coffee makes no promises or implies exact delivery times on any shipments. Brazilian Coffee strives to provide top quality customer service and works hard to ship all orders as soon as possible. If your order is received before 12 P.M. Pacific Time, you can expect items specifically marked as IN STOCK on the product page to ship same or next business day. Shipments reach most major centers across Canada within 1 - 5 business days. (Business hours/days are considered Monday to Friday). Items marked as Special Order are either out of stock or located in a warehouse that we do not have a live inventory feed with. Delivery time on these parts can vary per location and are only approximated. If your order is time sensitive, please contact us at canteen.edmonton@compass-canada.com to ensure your products will ship in a suitable time frame. We can offer expedited freight services, quotes are available once we receive the request and item you are looking for.

Shipping & Order Confirmation
Shortly after placing your order, you'll receive an email confirming that we've received your order. You'll receive a second email when your order has shipped. (You'll receive more than one shipment confirmation email if your order is fulfilled in multiple shipments). Please save these email invoices for your records.

Shipping Backorders In the unlikely event we are unable to ship your order complete, we reserve the right to ship the stock we have and backorder the items which we were unable to ship. You will be notified via email of the estimated delivery date for your backordered items. You will NOT be charged any additional freight charges for items that are backordered

Damage / Short Claims
Claims for shipment shortage or damage must be made within 24 hours of delivery. Obvious shortage/damage should be noted next to your signature on delivery receipt. Please open and inspect your order upon receipt. To process any shortages you will require your delivery tag/waybill number, packing slip number & account number.


Special Order Items
All special order items are subject to a 100% deposit and are nonrefundable. No returns on special order items will be accepted.

Special order items require additional delivery time. The average time is approx 7-14 business days. As each product, manufacturer and warehouse location varies Brazilian Coffee makes no promises or implies exact delivery times of any special order products. Time delay cancellation requests on special order items (or any regular stock items) will be denied. If an item is urgent and must be delivered within a certain time we highly recommend not ordering through the website, Contact a Brazilian Coffee Product Team Member for more information to see if we can meet your requirements before ordering.

Energy / Green Fee

Fee applied to every invoice to cover costs associated with inbound transportation fuel surcharges, warehousing, handling and order processing that are not reflected in the product pricing.

Brazilian Coffee does not claim all prices on the website are accurate and reserves the right to refuse any sale that may contain an inaccurate price. As pricing systems are automated errors can appear. Brazilian Coffee reserves the right to not honor any incorrect prices. Customers will be notified of any errors prior to order processing.
